Accessibility statement

Making our website and services work for everyone.

01Our aim

NeurodiverCity is neurodivergent-led, and almost all of our team is neurodivergent or disabled, so accessibility is how we work, not an extra. We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

02What we’ve done

  • plain English, clear headings and a readable layout, with body text of at least 18 pixels;
  • fonts chosen for readability: Lexend for headings and Atkinson Hyperlegible for text;
  • every page works with a keyboard, and at any zoom level and screen size;
  • text and controls have enough contrast, colour never carries meaning alone, and nothing flashes;
  • the reading options at the top of every page: larger or smaller text, a dyslexia-friendly font, reduced motion and high contrast. Your choices are saved in your browser;
  • you can contact us in writing, at your own pace. You never need to phone us.

03Our services

We’ll adapt how we work to suit you: written or spoken, shorter or longer meetings, in person or online, with information in the format that works for you. Just tell us what helps.

04What we’re still working on

We’re testing the site with screen readers and fixing what we find.

05Tell us

If something on this site or in how we work is hard to use, please tell us through our contact page. A real person replies and, where we can, fixes it or gives you what you need another way.
